Welcome To PCA Club Racing
We are first and foremost a car club that went racing. Porsche Club of America Club Racing is highly competitive, but at the end of the race when the checkered flag is thrown, it’s really about the camaraderie and fun of racing shared among friends.

About Club Racing
PCA Club Racing was established around several guiding principles that can be summarized in three groups.
First, there should be a class for all Porsche sports cars, including both street and modified cars.
Second, the racing is to be fun, safe, and clean. This principle is embodied in the strict enforcement of a probationary sanctions against any driver at fault in any incident involving car damage.
Third, the organization and operation of Club Races is to be uniform, so that any racer may attend any Club Race and know exactly what to expect. It doesn’t matter who you are. The rules apply to all racers.

After careful consideration and significant input from racers, shop owners, and the National team we have decided the time is right to abolish the 13/13 rule. Read more here.
New ME1 Spec Class!
The driving force behind the ME1 is to create a class for the more than 43,000 2.7 liter mid-engine cars which Porsche sold in North America from 2000 to 2008. These are the less expensive base Boxster and Cayman models.
Conceptually, the rules for ME1 are much like the SPB and SPC in terms of the changes from stock that are allowed. In creating this new class there is an emphasis on potenial number of cars, cost containment, build similarity to SPB, and improved handling and power so that ME1 slots in between SPB and SPC.

Transponder Update
PCA timing equipment supports the new generation TR2 and X2 transponder which replaces the TranX260 (classic) version. This transponder requires a subscription of 1, 2, or 5 years which needs to be renewed when the subscription expires. As with the classic transponder, the TR2 is a rechargeable transponder that can be moved between vehicles. The X2 transponder is permanently installed on the vehicle, powered directly by the battery.
